Its another month and another round of new albums release! Here, I will only introduced the stars that I am interested in. A handle of albums to introduce to you people plus exclusively, my recommendation!
ALBUM #1: Jolin Tsai – Love Exercise (蔡依林-爱的练习曲)
This album was fully made up of English songs. As you know, she is going to enter the English market. However, the accent that she used to sing the songs are still not up to my expectation. Overall, this album sucks. Don bother listen if you gonna going to get it anyway!
Shane’s Rating: 2.5/10 Stars – Simply because firstly, the songs are not that attractive, the English accent is the thing that deducts the rating! 2.5 for the effort.
ALBUM #2: 卓文萱-超级喜欢 My Favourite Kind of Geniie
A great album! 卓文萱! The album cover is much much attractive than the one above. Pretty and definitely a nice voice! The rising young superstar, debuts My Favourite Kind of, a total of ten Chinese new songs.

Personally, I think that 一个人勇敢, 下个幸福, 自己找答案 and 超级喜欢 which are worth listening. Almost half of her album is a thumb up.
Shane’s Rating: 8.0/10 Stars - 2 points deducted for the fact that her songs are too soft, which I think there are still room for improvement! Overall, a worthy album!
ALBUM #3: Rainie Yang 杨丞琳 – 半熟宣言
Another thumbs up album just released in the market. Although it has somehow lost to her old albums, this album overall is also not bad!

This album has somehow improved in its maturity sense. The groove was impressively stunning! This album great hits include: 带我走 and 冷战!
“带我走”–偶像剧“不良笑花”片尾曲
“爱我，就带我走….”勇敢女生、大胆追爱的告白主题曲。苏打绿青峰为杨丞琳量声词曲创作，抒情摇滚+绝美弦乐，杨丞琳勇气充满、澎湃高音首次大爆发！
Shane’s Rating: 8.5/10 Stars - Very good album although the songs cannot be as good as 暧昧. Definitely, its a good one to buy! I deducted two points because of her other rocks songs! I added another 0.5 points as I like her more than 卓文萱!
ALBUM #4: David Archuleta – David Archuleta
The long waited American Idol, who came in the second after David Cook, David Archuleta! Personally,I prefer David Archuleta more than David Cook! No offence. However, this very first personal album of his has somehow been refined. With his greatest hit, “CRUSH”, which was radio-ed over and over again has caught many attention. Definitely, the wait is worth it as his voice is damn perfect! Accompanied by the great melody, groove and feel of the music, the album came in just in time! Album named as “David Archuleta”, with a 12 new songs. One of which is featured that he re sang, “Angel”. Other great tracks are A Little Too Not Over You and My Hands! Especially “My Hands”, it definitely take my feelings along.
Shane’s Rating: 7.5/10 - The album is not perfectly nice. I deducted two and a half points for that as some of his rocky songs are not so appealing to me. Worth buying and you should support him! I am sure that he will be the next Gareth Gates, hopefully, better than him!
ALBUM #5: Nickelback – Dark Horse
After the single release of the “Gotta Be Somebody”, the long waited official album titled: “Dark Horse” has came out in the market by the greatest band, “Nickelback”. Most remembered by their “Far Away”.
Nickelback is a Canadian rock band formed in Hanna, Alberta by Chad Kroeger, Mike Kroeger, Ryan Peake and then-drummer Brandon Kroeger (the current drummer of Nickelback being Daniel Adair). The band is one of the most popular of the modern post-grunge genre, along with groups such as 3 Doors Down and Daughtry, performing in a significantly more radio-friendly style than the traditional, early 1990s grunge music era. Although the founders of the band hail from Hanna, Alberta, a small town east of Calgary, they are now based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The band’s name originates from the nickel in change that band member Mike Kroeger gave customers at his Starbucks job—he would frequently say, “Here’s your nickel back”.
Nickelback have established themselves as one of the biggest rock bands in the world. With over 26 million albums sold worldwide they have made their mark in rock and roll history. Their new album, ‘Dark Horse’, is one of the most anticipated releases this year. The band brought in legendary producer Mutt Lange to produce the record with Nickelback and longtime collaborator Joey Moi.
Nice tracks includes: Gotta be somebody, I’d come for you, Just to get high and Never gonna be alone! Others also great track! I love their songs! Very nice.
Shane’s Rating: 9 / 10 – A 100 percent must buy album! Another paramount moment of Nickelback!
ALBUM #6: Snow Patrol – A Hundred Million Suns
Remember “Chasing Car”? Sang by Jonathan Leong in the Singapore Idol. Nice right? It was from the Snow Patrol. I do not really like their new album as it does not really fits into my genre.
Shane’s Rating: 6 / 10 – A borderline passing grade. It will be better if you are really a Snow Patrol Fan!
